Description
BG Five's dominoes builds on the BG Draw dominoes game to play something that is a little more complex and a challenge to your mathematical skills. Well known in British pubs (where tournaments are often played), the object of fives dominoes is not just to run out of bones, but to try and create higher scores by placing dominoes so that the ends add up to a multiple of five. For example, if there is a six at one end and you place a domino so as to add a four at the other, you would make a total of 10 for a score of two points. Doubles, in this version also count all of their pips, thus a five plus a double five would make 15, giving a score of three.
In addition, though called "fives dominoes" an option can be set to play either threes dominoes, or the more popular fives and threes, where both multiples of five and multiples of 3 score points, (in which a total of 15 scores 8 points, 3x 5 and 5 x 3).
As always with Ian Humphries games, the game is self voicing using microsoft sapi, contains a high contrast mode for sighted players, can be played with two humans at the same machine or against the computer on various skill levels, and can even play midi music during the game.
Also, like all of Ian's other games, it's absolutely %100 free to download and play.
Happy adding.
