Description
As you might expect, Pyramid Solitaire is similar to other Solitaire variants accept that instead of the cards being arranged in columns and rows, they are arranged in the form of a pyramid. One card is placed at the top, two below, three below that and so on until the bottom row of the pyramid has 7 cards, with the rest being used to form a stock pile known as the talon. The object is to remove pairs of cards from the pyramid that total 13, with kings counting 13 points on their own. If no cards can be removed from the pyramid the top card of the talon can be substituted for one of the pyramid cards instead. If a player can do this with three passes through the Talon, you win.
As is usual with spoonbill games, Microsoft Sapi is used to output all text and make the game self voicing, and there are plenty of keys for reviewing the pyramid and quickly moving cards around. The game also features highly visible graphics which may be maximized, making it ideal for players with any level of vision, tracks all your winning statistics, and can play midi music in the background to keep you entertained while you demolish the pyramid.
Enjoy exploring the Pyramid.
