Description
Maze Craze is a tiny yet powerful labyrinth game. Your task is simple: to find the exit as fast as you can. The interface is very simple. When you start the game you first have to choose the maze you want to play and then you're off. You use the cursorkeys to navigate around the maze. You will be told when you hit a wall, meaning that you cannot go in that direction. You can press the spacebar to hear your current position. You are first told your x position (left to right) and then your y position (up and down). Finally, you can press [W] to hear the position you must get to in order to win, and escape to quit the maze and return to the main menu.
The game comes with only one maze but it also includes a very simple Maze Editor. This will let you create your very own maze in no time!
Maze Craze was developed in 48 minutes exactly and this includes the sound design as well. Fortunately the sounds can be replaced with your own samples since the quality is quite poor. However, the game is really fun to toy around with. Version 3.0 is now available. Have a go! The download includes Maze Craze, eleven playable mazes, and the maze editor, and is just 3.5 mb in size.
